WHAT IS THE INT'L CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME?
The Int’l Christian Women’s Hall of Fame is a ministry center housing an exhibit area featuring God’s women who impacted their generation and ours, a place for prayer and individual prayer ministry, a resource center with selective bookstore, library, classroom and GWTW studio for TV/streaming.
By these means, The Hall INFORMS, INSPIRES, and INSTRUCTS, celebrating God’s women of yesterday and creating world-changers today.
Live events, including the regular inductions of women into The Hall, special events, and relevant Bible courses will be streamed live from the GWTW in-house TV studio.
WHY DOES IT EXIST? AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Because historians have written most of God’s women out of history, the Church has been robbed of the inspiration of their example and the power of the Biblical message which their lives declared.
The Bible, correctly understood, teaches the equality of men and women in terms of substance & value, privilege & responsibility, function & authority in all of life and leadership, ministry and marriage. This corrects the traditional teaching of the subordinate, secondary status of women that is rooted in the notion that woman is evil, inferior, unequal, and unclean.
For the Church to function fully as the Body of Christ, both men and women must function according to God-given giftings and personalities, rather than on the basis of gender-defined roles of fallen culture. In 2009, God spoke to Eddie: “This message has the power to begin a mass movement from Islam to Christianity, beginning with the women.” This is not just a “woman” issue; it is also a Church issue and a world evangelism issue.
WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
The future home of The Hall is 909 S. Main Street, Suites 107 and 109 in Historic Downtown Grapevine, TX. Grapevine hosts 20 million visitors annually. The site is within two miles of DFW Int’l Airport, the world’s third busiest airport.
HOW DOES IT OPERATE?
In 1998, the Lord spoke to Dr. Susan Hyatt about the Int’l Christian Women’s Hall of Fame. She had just published her classic book, In The Spirit, We're Equal: The Spirit, The Bible, and Women--A Revival Perspective and was working on her doctorate at Regent University when she erected the first exhibits in an apartment on the Christ for the Nations Institute
campus in Dallas, TX. The vision has developed until, finally, it is time to move this ministry into a public space.
The Hall functions under God’s Word to Women, Inc. and Hyatt Int’l Ministries, Inc., both Texas non-profit corporations duly registered with the IRS, and therefore, is able to issue receipts for donations. The Hall facilitates gifted volunteers and is supported by the prayers and free-will offerings of those who understand the need and have embraced the vision.
